Just applied for a writing position for a fledgling New Orleans-based, high fashion magazine. I attached a link to a review I did on an Esperanza Spalding album for my writing sample. I don't want to get my hopes up, but they'll be in contact in 2 weeks, says the craigslist post.

Had a very well spent, albeit relatively unproductive afternoon with Drew today--Whole Foods, Vom Fass (http://vomfassusa.com/) and then Bee Sweet Cupcakes. She also encouraged me to pursue writing because apparently, I often talk about how much I like writing and want to write.
I went to BR with Neill this evening to see my mom and drop off/pick up some stuff. It was nice to spend an hour or so with my mom.
Well, it's past 3. So much for waking up early in the morning.
